Intune Device Enrollment (iOS)

Question

  • How do I enroll my iOS device into the Intune Company Portal?

Step-by-step

  1. Open the 'App Store'
  2. Search for 'Intune Company Portal' and download the application after it has finished downloading, open it. 
  3. Tap 'Sign in'.
  4. When asked to sign in use your WesternU e-mail address.
  5. You will then be re-directed to a WesternU sign in page, sign in using your WesternU credentials.
  6. After signing in successfully, tap 'Begin' to start the enrollment process.
  7. You will be presented with a disclosure on what information can be seen by WesternU IT. Tap 'Continue' to begin.
  8. Tap 'Continue' on the next screen and you will be re-directed to a Safari browser window.
  9. Tap 'Allow' on the next screen. 
  10. Open the Settings App
  11. Tap the option labelled Profile Downloaded at the top.
  12. If you have an iPhone with iOS version 15.0+, please follow these additional steps:
    • This Profile Downloaded option may be nested in the More for your iPhone setting. 
    • Please click View Profile and move on to step 12. 
  13. Install the 'Management Profile'.
  14. You will be asked to enter your device PIN.
  15. 'Install' the management profile. 
  16. You will be asked to confirm this action by tapping 'Install' again.
  17. Tap 'Trust' when prompted to finish installing the certificate. 
  18. Tap 'Done' to continue to the next step.
  19. Open the Comp Portal app and tap Continue
  20. Tap 'Continue' and Intune will confirm your device settings. (This may take some time to complete)
  21. Congratulations! You have successfully enrolled your iOS device and can access WesternU resources. Tap 'Done' to finish.
