In a continuous effort to ensure the integrity of Western University of Health Science’s data, we have conducted a Banner Security Access review of all College of Dental Medicine employees. You may be familiar with Banner Security Access reviews conducted in previous years, as this comes as a recommendation from Grant Thornton. Grant Thornton has recommended that we conduct annual audits of the operating offices responsible for keeping secure the most sensitive data, staring with the University Financial Services and Treasury.
We will be comparing your current Banner access, Self-Service, and Oracle roles to what we have on our recorded Banner Systems Access Authorization forms. Should your access have changed and need to be updated appropriately on an authorization form you will receive a revised authorization form. We ask that you review and return your approved authorization form via email with your signature and your Department Head’s signature.
