Question

  • Need an External account for a 3rd Party Temp?

Step-by-step

  1. From the support.westernu.edu homepage, select IT Services, located beneath Request Service 
  2. Select Accounts & Access
  3. Select Temporary Account Request
  4. To begin the request, select Request Account from the right side menu. Please also take note, the request will need to include the Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement. This document is available for download, located at the bottom or right side Files menu of the External Account Request page. 
  5. In addition to the Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, the request will also need to include the Employee Information Temporary form. This document is available for download located on the right side Files menu of the External Account Request page.

Additional Information

  • This form is only for temporary users who will not be hired directly through HR or going through the HR hiring process
  • At least two business day are required for the creation of this account

Banner Access Information

  • If you are requesting Banner Access, please make sure you select "Yes" to the following question: "Will this Person need a WesternU Email Address?" (as a WesternU email address is needed for Banner Access). 
  • If the temp employee needs Banner Access, please select "Yes" on the following question: "Will this person need Banner Access?" (provide the requested information).
