How to Optimize Zoom Recordings for Use With the Mediasite Integration

Important Notes

• This solution is an interim fix for downloadable content errors in Mediasite while using the Zoom to Mediasite content integration.
• This setting is an account-level setting and may increase file sizes and processing wait times for all recordings created with your account.
• If use of the Zoom to Mediasite integration is no longer necessary, it is advised that this setting be unselected.

How to Enable on Your Zoom Account

1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop client with your WesternU credentials.
2. Click on Settings on the left-hand toolbar.
   
3. Click on the Recording subtab

4. Under the subset of Advanced cloud recording settings, check the box for Optimize the recording for 3rd party video editor and press the blue Save button directly below.
