What is EduCause?
EduCause is a platform used by Higher Education Institutions with the goal to advance their institutions with the use of Information Technology. The platform has a membership of over 2,300 institutions and provides the following:
- Find content on best practices and to engage their peers
- Professional development opportunities
- Print and electronic publications, including e-books, and the magazine Educause Review
- Strategic policy advocacy
- Teaching and learning initiatives
- Applied research
- Special interest discussion groups
- Resource center for IT professionals

How do I access EduCause
To first access EduCause, you must create an account in the WesternU Environment. If you already have an account, you can log in using This Link
Creating an account
- In a web browser, access This Site
- Enter your WesternU email address
- If you already have an account, you will be prompted to log in. If you do not have an account you will be prompted to Create a Profile
- In the next page, provide the personal information, ensuring that you are using your WesternU email address and Western University of Health Sciences as the institution
- Enter the Job Information in the next page, Note: Only items marked with * are required
- Enter your demographic information in the next page. This information is not required
- For the final step, set your profile privacy and create a password for your account. Do not use your WesternU password for this account
- Once completed, you will be able to access your account.
