WU-Guest Network

The WU-Guest WiFi network is intended for use by people visiting any of the WesternU campuses or clinics. The WU-Guest network does not allow access to any WesternU Internal resources and is very restricted.  Therfore, Employees and Students are expected to use the eduroam network when on campus. Instructions on using eduroam can be found here.

The WU-Guest network will require re-registration after a period of 8 hours from initial registration. Guests may use up to 4 devices with the supplied credentials after registration.

Planned Events and Distinguished Guests

Please contact techsupport if you are planning an event with multiple guests or plan to have a visitor stay for over a duration of 8 hours.  We can provide specialized accounts for your distinguished guests for up to a 30-day period.

Connecting to WU-Guest

Select WU-Guest from your list of available SSIDs on your device.  Once you attempt to connect, a splash page with the WesternU Guest Portal should appear.

If you've already registered, enter your username and the pin that was provided on previous registration and click the SIGN ON button.  You may connect up to 4 devices per username.

Otherwise, for the first-time registration: Click the link  "Register a New Device" and you'll be presented with the following:

Create a username and enter an optional email address.  A valid email address is recommended if you are going to connect several devices or to not forget your login information.

A 4-digit pin will be generated and presented to you after you click the Register button. Your Username and Pin will remain valid for an 8 hr period.

Review and then accept the Acceptable Use Policy.

Your device will now be directed to the success page.  Please allow up to 30 seconds to obtain Internet Access.

Reporting Issues

If you experience any issues with the Wireless network on campus, please notify TechSupport at (909) 469-5432 or techsupport@westernu.edu. Please note, you may be required to visit the TechSupport office at the Daumier with your device to perform troubleshooting.
