How to Download a Recording from My Mediasite

How to download an mp4 version of a presentation from your My Mediasite portal.

Body

  1. Navigate to your personal My Mediasite portal.
  2. Search for and select the title of the recording that you would like to download.

  1. Click "Edit Details".

  1. To make the presentation downloadable:
    1. Click on the subtab, "Delivery" and click the box for "Vodcast".
    2. Click in the text box for "Vodcast Project", select the vodcast project, "Vodcast Project- All content" and press "Save" in the top right-hand corner.

  1. The system will produce a downloadable file- wait times may vary with recording length/file size. The system will briefly display the message below.

  1.  You will know your file is ready for download when you click on "Download to Computer" in the bottom right-hand corner of the page, and the option for "Download Vodcast" is now available to you. To download and view, click "Download Vodcast".
