Connecting to the Breakout rooms and Seminar rooms in COMP-NW

  1. For Windows Devices to connect
  2. For Apple Devices to connect

With the TV turned on, this is the Default screenUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

        1. For Window Devices to Connect  

Step 1. Hold the Window Key down and press the K Key, or you can type "Cast" on the search bar got to Step 3.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Step 2. You will see the screen below, and select your room, then skip down to Step 6.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Step 3. If you type cast on the search you will see this screen. Select Connect to a wireless displayUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Step 4. Then click ConnectUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Step 5. Select your RoomUploaded Image (Thumbnail)Your screen is now sharedUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Step 6. In on the cast icon on the bottom of your screen and select how you will show your screen. This is also the place to disconnect.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Step 7. Once you are done, Disconnect the screen will then Default to this.

      2. For Apple Devices to Connect

If you see the screen above and not the one below then do this:

  • You can use the remote control and select the Input with the room name that you are in. 

This is the default screen if a Windows devices was not the last to connect or you just turned on the TV.

Step 1a. Have Apple Play enables on your Apple device.

Step 2a. Click the Screen Mirroring Icon to start the connections.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Step 3a. Then select the room you are in.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

and you will see Airplay Code on TVUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Step 4a. Enter Code on your device and click OKUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Your screen should be displaying on the TVUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

Step 5a. To disconnect Click on the Mirroring Icon, and it will disconnect you. You can either turn Off the TV or just leave it On.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
