Retrieving BDM Documents through Finance Self-Service 9

This article helps provide a step-by-step guide on how to access BDM documentation via the Finance Self-Service 9 pages.

• Log onto My.WesternU.edu portal.
• Locate the Finance and Budget card.  If the card is not on your homepage, it can be located using the Discover function in the upper left Main Menu in the portal.
• Click on the Finance Self-Service 9 link.
  • Note.  Finance Self-Service is currently only accessible on campus or through VPN; access is also restricted to only individuals who have been granted access by UFS&T.  
• Once on the homepage, look for the View Document link
• On the View Document page, select the Document Type, enter your Document Number, and click the Approvals & Related Documents button
• If your document has an attachment indexed into BDM you will find the associated BDM link in the Attachments section of Related Documents page
