Step-by-step
Deleting a SharePoint Site (Modern Team Site)
- On the SharePoint Site, select the gear in the upper right corner as seen below and then select Site information.
- Once the Site information loads, select Delete site and you will then need to confirm.
Deleting a SharePoint Site (Classic Site)
- On the SharePoint Site, select the gear in the upper right corner as seen below and then select Site settings.
- On Site Settings, underneath Site Actions, select Delete this site as seen below and you will then need to select Delete on the right side of the page.
