This setting is an account-level setting and may increase file sizes and processing wait times for all recordings created with your account.
It is advised that after you record the content that's needed for video editing that you change your setting back for your subsequent meeting recordings.
How to Enable on Your Zoom Account
Sign in to the
Zoom desktop client
with your WesternU credentials.
Click on
Settings
on the left-hand toolbar.
Click on the
Recording
subtab
Under the subset of
Advanced cloud recording settings
, check the box for
Optimize the recording for 3rd party video editor
and press the blue
Save
button directly below.
