HSC GAIT Lab - AV Training

  1. GAIT Lab greeting screen with name of room, WesternU logo and the current day and time.
  2. Tap touch screen to begin
  3. The home screen will be shown with the following options available:
    1. Bottom Row of Standard options from left to right:
      1. Power button – Feature to power off the system
        1. Shutdown needs to be initiated by selecting Yes in order to shut down system completely
      2. Speaker button – To mute and unmute volume of speakers
      3. Volume meter – Control the volume level of the speakers
      4. Microphone button – To mute and unmute microphone
      5. Question mark/Help – Details regarding the room and the equipment, used for technical support
      6. Send Source button – Activates the Advance Control to manually customize desired sources to desired outputs in the system (Please contact Tech Support for more information)
    2. PC View
      1. Select PC View to display default PC view (Left side in extended display) on both display monitors
    3. PC Extended View
      1. Select PC Extended View to display PC in full extended view on the left display monitor and the right monitor (The left display monitor will show the left side of the extended view, while the right display monitor will show the right side of the extended view)
    4. Laptop/HDMI
      1. Select Laptop/HDMI to project a portable device connected to the HDMI cable (provided at the multimedia station)
    5. Airmedia/Wireless
      1. Select Airmedia/Wirelss to have your device connect to the display monitors wirelessly via the Crestron Airmedia software.
      2. The Crestron greeting screen will provide the IP address for the user to enter on their browser on the device they want to display.
      3. Once you get to the page via the IP address, you should get a Crestron Airmedia 2 logo and a button that says Start Presenting.
      4. Select Start Presenting and the software will process your request and make an attempt to connect.
      5. Once it connects, you will see your device displayed on both display monitors
        1. Stop Presentation with Airmedia button allows you to end your display but it will not disconnect your device from the two display monitors
          1. Select Resume Presentation with Airmedia to resume displaying your device
        2. Disconnect from Airmedia button will completely disconnect your device, thus requiring you to redo the entire connection process over again in order to display your device again
    6. Video Conf. Cam 1
      1. Select Video Camera 1 to automatically set the system into video conference mode for Zoom calls or Teams calls.  The default camera for this setting is Camera 1 (The left camera, and also labeled 1).  Both display monitors will go into PC Extended View while the remote audience will view the video feed from Camera 1.
    7. Video Conf. Cam 2
      1. Select Video Camera 2 to automatically set the system into video conference mode for Zoom calls or Teams calls.  The default camera for this setting is Camera 2 (The right camera, and also labeled 2).  Both display monitors will go into PC Extended View while the remote audience will view the video feed from Camera 2.
    8. Camera 1
      1. Select Camera 1 to display Camera 1 view on both display monitors.  The cameras cannot be controlled via the touchpanel, so the remote control will need to be used in order to pan, zoom, and to program presets.
        1. Select button 1 under the Camera Select set of buttons on the top of the remote control.
        2. Adjust pan, zoom, and presets using the remote control functions.
    9. Camera 2
      1. Select Camera 2 to display Camera 2 view on both display monitors.  The cameras cannot be controlled via the touchpanel, so the remote control will need to be used in order to pan, zoom, and to program presets.
        1. Select button 2 under the Camera Select set of buttons on the top of the remote control.
        2. Adjust pan, zoom, and presets using the remote control functions.
  4. On the page of every source you select, there will be a house icon in the top right corner.  Tap the house icon to return to the home page
