• LinkedIn Learning is an online educational platform that helps you discover and develop business, technology-related, and creative skills through expert-led course videos
• You may access LinkedIn Learning during work hours, or use it for personal learning while not at work. 
  • If utilizing LinkedIn Learning during work hours, please restrict your learning to work-related training

LinkedIn Learning Single Sign On

• Go to the LinkedIn Learning Organizational Portal here
• Log in with your WesternU email address

• You will then be directed to the Single Sign On site.  Select "Sign in with Single Sign-On"
• This will connect you to LinkedIn Learning

Finding Content in LinkedIn Learning

• Once in LinkedIn Learning, you will be able to choose from thousands of training videos and courses.
  • There are Collections and Learning Paths already created for your convenience, covering many of the most popular programs
    • Find these by selecting "My Learning" in the top menu bar
    • Next, select "From Your Organization"
    • Here you will see the content created for you

  • You may also find your own pertinent, work-related training by typing your desired topic into the search bar

  • There are many skill groups and tagged content already provided by LinkedIn Learning, and WesternU.
    • To access, select "Browse" in the top menu bar, and select the skill or tag you'd like to learn

• Once in a courrse, you may view and complete the entire course, or just select the portion of the course that suits your needs by selecting that section
  •

• Training videos are included with an overview, transcripts, exercise files when necessary, a notebook for your use, and sometimes exams

Additional Information

• Once you complete a course, you receive a certificate of completion from LinkedIn Learning, and that will be kept in your learning history for your records. 

• Supervisors receive a once a year report to inform them of your efforts to increase your skills

• LinkedIn Learning has a mobile app for your convenience

• There is a "View Offline" option for each course
